Each entrant will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the HB A&P Show.

Registrations will be open online through Evo Events from the 9th of August 2026.

To celebrate the return of cattle to the Hawke's Bay A&P Show, we are pleased to offer a one-off fuel subsidy for the 2026 Show.

This subsidy is being provided as a special incentive for 2026 only to help offset travel costs and encourage competitors from further afield. It is not guaranteed to be available at future Shows.

Eligibility

To qualify for the fuel subsidy, exhibitors must:

• Travel a minimum of 100 km (one-way) from the Tomoana Showgrounds.
• Bring at least four (4) cattle to compete at the Show.
• Submit a fuel subsidy application before the Show.
• Compete at the Show with the entered cattle. Subsidy payments will be made after the Show has concluded.

Subsidy Rates

The subsidy will be calculated using the one-way distance from your registered address to the Tomoana Showgrounds and paid per head of cattle at the following rates:

Maximum Payment

• The maximum fuel subsidy payable is $1,500 per competitor.
• Distances will be calculated by the Hawke's Bay A&P Society using the exhibitor's registered address.
• All applications are subject to approval, and subsidy payments will only be made once the cattle have competed at the 2026 Hawke's Bay A&P Show.
