When: Judging begins on Thursday 22nd October 8:30am-9:30am, Public can access from 12pm Thursday and all day Friday
Where: Poultry Shed
Fees: A small fee per class
Trophies: The Hastings Poultry and Pigeon Club kindly provide the cup for Champion Poultry.
Prizes: Certificates will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in each class, with champions awarded in each section and prize money for the Supreme Champion. There are ribbons for the junior section.
Each entrant will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the HB A&P Show.
Birds to be penned at the Poultry Shed (next to the Exhibition Hall) no earlier than 5pm and no later than 7:30pm on Wednesday 21st October. Enter via Gate 4 off Karamu Road. For parking during Show days, please use Gate 1. The Poultry Competition has a large variety of classes and looking to attract more interest and this year holding a Pet Chicken Class and People's Choice Award.

Registrations will be open online through EVO Events from 1st August 2026 or manual entry forms will be posted on Hastings Poultry and Pigeons Club's Facebook Page.
